The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Warriors Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline including divine entities, evil spirits, and dark forces increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

Episode 3 concluded with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of heroes who will separate from the central cast to begin their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

Hence, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented story mode where diplomatic options are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric Wicander Halovar might appear unsuited, but the actions of episode 3 make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of the deceased character—whose death kicked off the story’s plot—manipulated the enemy for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, assaulting the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and escaped to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each character has a specific drive to depart the metropolitan area:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and best friend, desires revenge.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and warns that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having resisted his family’s wishes to execute the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their status as key figures in the influential clan could help the party reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the family.

This results in them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Explorers and Planners groups.

Audiences can expect discovering which players will be in which group in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on next week.
