This incident caused the partial shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a theft at Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
